Carolina Furfare: Medieval in the Mountains finally happened this year, after being delayed by Hurricane Helene last year, and now I can share the work that I did!
This was the banner I created for Con Ops. Since we didn’t have a Fursona-level supporter to put in this spot, I created it with the convention’s mascots, Petal and Aster. For the medieval theme, Aster dressed up as a prince, and Petal chose the knight captain of the royal guard.
Since con ops is the nerve center of the convention, when the event is live, I had Petal and Aster in a war room of sorts, planning troop movement – except the map is the convention center layout, and the meeples represent staff!
We have:
purple gopher volunteers shuttling boxes around,
orange anteater security staff in a “come at me bro” pose,
and at the very bottom, our Guest of Honor Nicnak044
as a green cat bard – which she often fursuits as at medieval themed events.
