    Eduardo 1: Stranded Wildspace Merchant

Eduardo 1, the first incarnation of Eduardo! In this version, he’s a dohwar artificer – a merchant from Wildspace and the Astral Sea, who after a deal with some githyanki went bad, escaped via a shipboard teleportation circle….only to find himself stranded on the “backwater” world of Toril, without a way home.

That hasn’t kept him from using his knowledge of a peculiar magic called “science” to build his own equipment for adventuring and making a living, however….

Eduardo 2: Twilight Cleric of Astilabor

Would you like to make a donation to the church of Astilabor? Every gold piece or valuable trinket goes toward the work of increasing the wealth of her and her followers’ hoards!

Variant 2 of Eduardo is a little kobold!

Astilabor, according to Forgotten Realms Wiki, is the draconic god of wealth in the D&D multiverse, and it’s said she is responsible for dragons’ natural tendencies to build hoards. She’s treated more like a folk deity or superstition than one of the pantheon in her own right – her rituals and stamps often adorn hoards as a matter of protective luck. Eduardo though, is a dedicated cleric – wealth is the source of all good in the universe, and he’s out to make sure merchants earn a living, and everyone keeps their belongings properly secure.

Righting wrongs isn’t about doing good, it’s just that evil tends to cheat, or at least operate in the spirit of cheating – and he won’t have red in the multiverse’s ledger. Foes who would try to lure him with greed will readily discover that approach doesn’t work – treasure left out is treasure unsecured, and he will immediately try to find its owner to advise them on better security measures for their hoard.

Eduardo 3: Pirate Captain of the Flying Porcine

According to his stories, this ship used to sail the Astral Sea! Lately, seems more bound to the oceans of Toril, though. But best ye be handing over that treasure now, either way…
